Permit to work with certain chemicals
You must have a permit from the Swedish Work Environment Authority in order to handle certain chemicals due to the special risks involved.

This applies to:
- chemicals included in group A in Appendix 1 to Chemical Hazards in the Working Environment, AFS 2011:19, provisions
- chemicals included in group B in Appendix 1 to Chemical Hazards in the Working Environment, AFS 2011:19, provisions
- certain pesticides in accordance with Pesticides (AFS 1998:6), provisions
- asbestos in accordance with Asbestos, AFS 2006:1, provisions.
Substances included in group A cannot normally be handled at all. There are certain exceptions, but you must then have a permit from the Swedish Work Environment Authority.
